I'm planning on placing an order for an S2k next week. I had my heart set on Spa Yellow until I perused through the miata.net forums. bwob posted a beautiful pic of a white S2k with red badges, red seats, and clear lenses. My mother strongly opposes white because she thinks all white cars, roadsters, trucks, etc.. are only appropriate for women and too dainty for men. I think it looks racy and wouldn't mind one. YELLOW or WHITE?

I was actually gonna get the silver on red (2001 model), but when i came across a white one lowered on rims with the red interior, i fell in love.

Picked up a 2001 white/red and never looked back. I think the red interiors on the new ones are just plain nasty. The red/black combo on the 00, 01 models IMO is the best looking.

I get more compliments on the interior then i do the overall car.

 

Just tell your mum that white is basis of the Japanese grand prix team colour scheme (which is why they call it Grand Prix White ) and most definitely a macho colour in that country.

 

Yeah! What he said above! Red on white is Honda racing color! Silver /Red is generally European color (Porsche, MB). Blue for Subaru, Yellow for Yamaha?? Green for Kawasaki?? Hum? How do I get into motorcycles???

Honda started with motorcycles! Used to be the Honda "Red Wings" (On white)!

 

You know, I have yellow, but the white is growing on me

 

Keep in mind that yellow is FASTERRRRRR
