Default yellowing the headlights? got some questions

Ive seen a few cars around with the yellowed out lights....simply a protective film that goes over the lights and makes them look yellow..

my main question is....at night when the lights are turned on will the hids look like hids or will they have a yellow tint to them....

i dont wanna be driving and have yellow light out in front of me ya know, and i dont want people to look at it and the light be yellow at night when the lights are turned on.

so anyone know anything about this or have any experience with this??

You can often see race cars with yellow headlights because they reflect less off wet surfaces and during bad weather, like rain or fog, as well as make the vehicle more noticeable. When you ask is they will look like HIDs, if you mean color-wise then no, but you will still have the same beam pattern. IMO, leave your lights alone. Good luck.

I have and sell this Headlight film. It is great and yes there is a yellowish tint to the HIDs, but it is not overwhelming. The lights have a greenish tint instead of blue.

The yellow is for the reasons above and to help with racing series where there are different classes on the track at the same time. If you see yellow in your rear view mirror move over!
ALMS uses these films for this reason.

Its a love it or hate it thing. Hard core racers always have compliments, and ignorant viewer just wonder why.

This is one of those mods you either love...Or hate...Personally it's not to my taste...although I would never critisize someone for being able to try something new...Who know's you might just love it...and if you dont...just peel it back off...I like my blue HID's...
