Anyone have actual firsthand experience with the Yokohama AVS Sports on our little beast. They appear to be a pretty good compromise of high performance in the dry and wet, and they look pretty cool. Could be a reasonable alternative to the S02s.

I know a few people around here have, but I'm not one of them.

Take a look at the Yoko 520s too. If you're going to go aftermarket these look like they might be a nice choice. The have a W speed rating (like OEMs) and the tread rating is in the same ballpark as the OEM tires (only a difference of 20 or 40 -- altho you cannot directly compare treadwear ratings across brands). According to tirerack these are only one level down from the Max-Perf rated S-02s (I believe they are rated to be Ultra Hi-Perf), and they cost half as much. I'm not advocating them, just mentioning them so you might take a look...
