Default you got front license plate on your s2k?

if your state required you to put a license plate in the front of your s2k by law .
will you do it?
(consequence would be got pulled over and ticket when the cops feel likes you deserve one ... )

i totally agree, why do we need it? they are already a nuisance for leaving screw dents on the back bumper when parallel parking in tight spaces or when some dumba$$ decides to ram their car up against the back of your bumper for good measure (???) (esp. around U of T .. freebie parking is hard to come by and people just can't drive downtown!) .... and all the 407 / red light cameras tag your rear plate anyways .... [/rant]

anyhow, back to the original question: if I had one of those license plate holders that mount to a bracket in the lower grill w/o drilling the bumper, i would do so... otherwise i'd have to give it a second thought

California law requires front plates, but I've never had one on any car that I can remember. On any car they look ugly and on many cars (like the s2k) they interfere with airflow to the radiator and hence performance. Think of all the material and labor costs they could save if they eliminated the requirement for the front plate. Of course, inmates make them, so I guess it's one way to fabricate "make-work" for them.

One less thing to get hassled about... I'd rather just be able to drive the car...
