Default You have to see this!

Ever since I first sweated on the leather, I have needed a cover for my seats. Without finding anything other than Lambswool, I thought of making my own. Some fabric like that for a wet suit would work and should protect against the sun, my sweat, or unexpected rain shower. A couple of months ago I found the perfect covers........at a Honda Dealer! The best part was the price, $500 as an option on a new S! Too funny that they want $4K over sticker and then $500 for covers. Well, I went to their parts department to get some information. It turns out that a little shop around the corner sold them and I could probably find them cheaper there.
Shure enough, found the shop and they had a more realistic price~$300. It is kind of expensive though that yellow S in the showroom looked pretty good with them on. I thought about this group and figured I may be able to talk the owner of the shop into a group buy. See the GB forum for more information. Check out these pics for the latest $500 option to be had in San Diego on the S2000!

Yes, there are 4 straps for the seat bottoms and the back slides down over the seat. I have had them for about a month and the drivers has molded to my rear. I rarely have a passenger so it has not yet molded perfectly to the shape of the seat.

They look great, absolutely sweet.

On a further note, how easy would it be to get the S2000 logo stitched onto the OEM leather seats. I had a red 'CRX' logo on the leather seats in my previous car and feel like duplicating the same idea on my S2000.

It was some time from when I first saw them and then got mine. I had thought at first that the logo would be stitched, though it is actually painted on. Maybe I shoulda tried to talk my wife into sewing it in place!

Meh, I still like the leather exposed. Especially the red seats. But the covers look great for, well, covers.

Those look like Wet Okole seat covers. Got them on my Tundra, if you go to www.wetokole.com it'll only cost you $225 for the pair of custom fit seat covers... their online store sucks, but just call them - it took about 3 weeks to get them, but I'm totally satisfied.

I can't believe someone would charge $500 for seat covers - you could probably get the leather redone for that price (or really close to it).
