Probably 30-35% of the Ss I see here are driven by females.

Right before my wife and I bought our 03 s2 we saw a ~ 65 year old female driving through our downtown with the top down and the music roaring in a Suzuka Blue.

Never seen a woman driving one in my area, though I know they exist because we hear from them on this site!

Reasons are many and already mentioned, but I think when it comes to cars, women are far more practical than men, and less likely to buy a stick with almost no trunk space.

I love driving it! But I will admit I have a larger car for big shopping days and hauling kids around!

I know a woman who owns an s2000, and I've seen a woman driving another, and my wife drives mine on occasion.

I must say though, 80% of the s2000's and 350Zs I see are diven by a man. I'd say it's more like 50 - 50 for the BMW z3 and z4 (man I see a lot of those around here) and Miatas.

I see many Porsches daily out here, and they are almost always driven by a man. A mid-40's tie wearing man, usually.
