Definitely not worth losing sleep over. Scraps and dings happen. If i worried about all the little things that happen to my car i would have to make it a full time career heh.

I know exactly how you feel bro. I just paid $400+ for a brand new OEM lip about 2 months ago. I've been super paranoid about pulling up too far and scratching it. All was perfect until last week when I turned right into a parking space beside a curb (I always try to park in a space next to a curb so only one fool can park beside me, thus cutting my risk of dings in half). Well, I tried to pull in too close to the curb and scraped the driverside corner of my lip.

The good news is, I'm not so paranoid about scraching my lip anymore

In the begining I freaked out about every little chip, scratch etc. Now it doesnt bother me that much. You just have to realize that these things happen and most of the time you can't control it.

I'm pretty good now about curbs but it's the occasional high driveway that has got me a couple of times (need to remember the "angle"). If anyone remembers the thread on masking tape a couple of weeks ago, I've been comtemplating applying this to the underside of the lip to give it at least a little protection.

I have done it often. I just put a new front bumper on due to an accident and I am going to try to be more careful, but I know I will do it again (repeatedly probably).

How does that work with the lip installed? The mounting points are not flush with the bottom side of the lip.
