Are you a snob?
I like to think I'm an approachable type of guy. I'll talk to most people most of the time. Sometimes I might not be in the mood for chat, but I don't think that makes me a snob.
When someone asks me anything about the car i won't shut up. I'm not biased when it comes to the car either. I will however set people straight if they talk shit. Shit like the Z3's were the original roadster kicking off the roadster market again or an SLK is a better car because of its folding hardtop.
The S2 and cars in general are great conversation topics among men......and some women
I do see the S2 as a completely selfish purchase on my behalf. I only live once, I liked it from the very first moment I saw it ( Motor mag talking about its impending release)

Of the nine months of owning this car, I've gotten the look from older man in their car while sitting at a light. It's the look of, "why are you so young and driving this nice convertible?" I'd figured it's two parts, foremost, it's a convertible and a good looking one at that. The second part is, I look like a kid even though I'm going to be 29 next month (I know, I know grandfathers of this forum [I'm joking], I'm still a kid. But I got carded for watching The Kingdom when it first came out at the theatre). In any case, I don't like getting the look but I do like the compliments and thumbs up at the light or when I'm getting into the car.
At the end of the day, I'm just driving a Honda.

A Mustang convertible doesn't fit the definition of a roadster. Although some would argue that a Mustagn back seat is about as useful as a rumble seat, but in my mind it isn't a roadster if it has a back seat.
From the Merriam-Webster online dictionary:
Main Entry: road

Bleh, it is an s2k, not a f430 or a spyker. If a car makes you into a snob, you don't have much going for you anyway.
