Put a hidden cam in your car, this is just the beginning. Good luck.

Well just be thankful it wasn't an egg they threw at your car. Needless to say, that'd really suck (especially in the winter)!
I got the egg treatment. The shell scratched the paint and the egg only came off with some harsh degreasers and toothbrush. C-suckers all these envious little shits.

I understand your pain, but there comes a time when you start realizing it's just a car. At this point in your life, it's your pride and joy, but as you get older, you'll stop caring as much. Haters gonna hate, nothing you can do about it. Once you stop being so worried about your possessions (because they are just possessions), you'll become much more laid back and stress free.

Best of luck.

This was not only wrong, but against the law. Next time, pull out your camera and take pictures. Lots of them. Take the cup and dust it for prints. If you can get some, call the police and report it. Report it to the school too.

It may be a long shot that the police will follow up on this, but if you can identify the person that did it, they will be fined. I'm assuming your Principal might want to tack on some detentions and restitution as well if it's on school property. And his parents need to know what he did.

You have an interesting perspective. You seem to believe that if someone does something malicious you should just whine about it and live with the consequences. I believe that this behavior is totally unacceptable. I want to see the offenders treated appropriately so that an example is set and they don't keep going through life thinking they can dis anyone they want just because they can get away with it.

I've been in car accidents in the past caused by others, and I pull out my camera and snap lots of pictures. It is amazing how having all of the evidence in hand prevents someone from lying about the circumstances and affecting the outcome. I've known others that didn't collect evidence and got burned for it.

I guess you prefer feeling like a victim. Not hating, you just come off that way.......

^^^no, I don't feel like a victim as I don't even whine about it. I suck it up and move on. Rather than spend countless hours (a stretch, I know) investigating who gave me a door ding, I prefer to move on with my life.

You forget this kid is in high school and dependent on the situation, he could be targeted again in the future if people know that things happening to his car really bothers him.

There is a time and a place for justice, you just need to know which battles to fight and which ones to let go of.

honestly, it doesn't matter if you are driving a S2K or some other car.
People will vandalize a car regardless. When I had a beater, I had some kid key my car from my headlight to my tail light.

I had a hunch on who did it, but had no evidence, so I had to let it go.
Best thing I can do is to make sure my kids do not grow up to be jerks.
