You know, there's always going to be someone of the minimum driving age that has an S2000, which in the US, is generally 16. For any car in question, not just the S2000, there's always gonna be someone out there that gets one for their 16th birthday.

A more meaningful question, perhaps, would be what is the youngest age of someone that does not live at home, and has paid for or is paying for their S2000 themselves, and takes care of all the maintenance, repair, insurance, and other ownership costs themselves.

i just bought my 01 sk2 with 14,000 miles and im 17, almost 18!
ive been working since i was 14 saving every penny of my money, and for the last 2 years ive worked 2 jobs, and go to school. i pay for insurance, car payments, cell phone, and enything else i want, and i work on my own cars!
my parents support me, but dont help me(financially)

ive wanted an s2000 since the day they came out, it was everything i wanted in a car!
since they i was hooked and started saving for that perfect car, so i think i do deserve now owning one of my own and i am proud and feel good b/c i worked so hard to get it!

I'm 18 and turn 19 on April 4th, but I have a trust fund that paid for my S. When I was 15 I lost my left leg in a boat accident from drunk people driving boats at night. So I believe I deserve my S honestly! Also I work to pay for my insurance, maintainence, and upgrades! So I put in my duty too.

I'm 16. Just turned it too.

Got my car as long as I never get any birthday presents/christmas presents for the rest of my time living with them (bleh, such a kid answer) Got it used for a great deal. They said they would buy me a car and it was cheaper used than some of the cars they considered buying me (SRT-4, RSX-S, Civic Si, WRX) I will be paying all of the insurance with my job + savings + interest.

I will be going to a driving school over the summer to get to do some Auto-X.

LOL! I don't kow how to explain it, but I do it and I'm not bad. I never thought I'd be able to do it either. My previous car was an automatic RX-7, bc I didn't think I'd be able to drive a stick. That pissed me off cause it wasn't fun to drive, and I love the S2000's. So I tried one out that had at a dealership that a good friend of mine sold cars for, and I could do it so I bought the car and taught myself and have gotten better ever since.

As I stated earlier I am 19, paid cash for my S2K, pay my full insurance and gas. I also work full time at DB Motorsports in Chino (Diamond Bar Honda's Aftermarket Division) and go to night school full time...
