You were holding out on me!
I would have LOVED to see your Austin Healy. Do you ever take it our for a spin?
Oh, and are you all squared away with the S2000 now?
BTW, F1 starts up in less than a month. Any news on whether SpeedVision has won the F1 broadcast rights again this year?
Hope I see you around...
My only car/my daily driver/weekend car/you name it. I drive this thing everywhere all the time! Even went to a camp ground with it and went off road....never again! Scraped bottom 2 times and almost got stuck in the mud once!
Prock,
It's my daily driver...love it. It gets me up in the morning to go to work, and I don't mink being stuck in it in traffic on the way home (priceless feature about the S2000).
I wouldn't leave it outdoors because of the soft top though (wear and tear).

I myself wouldn't have bought one if it was my only means of getting around. With all the snow St. Louis gets, having a S2000 as a daily driver isn't a very good idea. Besides I bought my S specifically as a third car, so it should hopefully never see snow and only ocassionaly rain. For the most part, I don't drive it unless I can drop the top. Unlike others here, I also plan to keep this car for a good 15-20 years so keeping it off of salt covered (and other de-icing chemicals) roads will only help the car out in the long run.
Besides driving my S2000 in bumper-to-bumper rush hour traffic isn't much different than driving my Civic -- unless it's a nice sunny day/morning!

Keep that in mind, STL.
You and I may be the only ones left on this forum in 2021.
