In no way am I condoning the breaking of any traffic laws with this post
Anyway, 125mph for me in a Ferrari 360 Modena.
I never get the opportunity to really get on a car. I won't do it unless I am the only car for a very long stretch - I don't trust other drivers nor do I want to risk destroying anyone else's life if I screw up. Anyway.....
My old S2000 - 142 MPH
My old E46 M3 - 130ish MPH
New Porsche Cayman S - 157 MPH
The M3 and CS could have gone a bit faster, but I was catching up to traffic. The S2000 scared me above 130 MPH. I don't think the modifcations I did were best for high speeds - the car was setup for handling at normal US speeds.

Pegged the needle on a 120 mph speedo in a 1969 Barracuda 340 in the Nevada desert back when it was legal. About 115 in my old man's Jag XJS when the access road to Dulles airport first opened and about 100 or so in my S2k before I remembered my 2 tickets for "reckless by speed." Guilty, guilty, guilty!
210 km/hr on the autobahn. In an Audi station wagon. Diesel. What's that, like 130 mph? Was going good until I was flashed by a BMW 7 series going about 160. Pretty stable car, really, up to about 110 mph.
Once the S was broken in, I made sure the third digit worked on the speedo. You know, for warrenty purposes.

165 in a friend's 97 Supra Twin Turbo
142 in my '01 Honda Prelude (felt remarkably stable)
100 in the S2000 so far (there's only one stretch of road in VA that I can safely do a top speed run on and I'm not saying where but I haven't had the S there yet
)

153 mph on a back road at 3:30 am racing a 911, he won, but only by about 2 carlengths...and never got any more than that away from me. I had it pegged out for about 30 seconds at that speed, and it was all she had. It was stock then, I might have the ponies to hit 155 now, but there's no point. Once you've gone 150+ mph in the S, you don't really need, or want, to do it again.
It was stable, but I also have my rear toe turned in to assist with straight line stability.

Got my S up too 120. Road was empty and I was messing around with my friends srt-4.
In my 95 turbo neon I got up to 150 racing my other friends 02 m3 than the car shut down (saftey kill switch in car). I was running low boost around 11 psi. If I was running 18 not sure what I would top off at. Car now just sits in my driveway too busy driving S lol. Later.
