I agree with those that say the Z4 is ugly. I think the Z3 looked MUCH better. It would be interesting to see how the people on the BMW forums vote given the same question.

 

you guys that think the Z3 looks better than the 4 are trippin'. Only thing lamer than the Z3 exterior is its interior. Z4>Z3 in every way, looks (subjective), power, suspension, materials, etc

 

I'm surprised to actually find myself considering trading in my s2k for the new M4 roadster. But then I think, I love my S & it's paid for, the M would be $55k... but 330 hp, lots o' torque, all the comforts of a bmw...

 

the only reson i would say bmw is cuz it probobly has a 'lock button' But my first and true love will always be the S.

it doesnt matter whether the z4 is half the cost of the S or twice as much - its still a piece of junk.

i think you are wrongly making the assuming that people only choose cars because they are at the top of their spending limit. i didnt get my S because I couldnt afford anything else - i got it because i think its BETTER than everything else i looked at.

my point was - post the same question on a Z4 forum and youll get 100% the other view - they all love their car and think ours is worse. i just think its pointless asking a bunch of S2000 owners and enthusiasts this question.

To whom should I bequeath the keys to my s2000 now?

Put the S's engine, tranny, suspension, etc. in the z and I'd have bought the z...regardless if it were a honda or a bmw. I love the S for what's inside--not outside--the car. I like the looks of both cars, but actually I like the look of the z better....never owned one, but I've driven one.

Think of it like Jessica Alba vs. Jessica Simpson...both are sexy, but one is probably more attractive if you take into account what's inside....

So....is my membership to s2ki hereby suspended due to irreconcilable stupidity & bad taste?
