When you guys took delivery did you guys get this key in a hard box from Honda?

I don't want to use it and scratch it up

I didnt get it in a box - I have 3 of these.
IIRC they are the standard 04-05 keys now.
(they are also $120 from the dealer and severely backordered!)

I was at a dealership yesterday and the salesman I was working with told me those started this year. Then again, I had to show him the secret compartment...

Definately started in 2004. It's the main key not the valet.

Yes, my 05 came with one but then again my buddie's 04 only came with two keys- we think the dealer still has one or "used" it someplace else.

Yeah, it's just one of the three keys you get with the '04+ cars.

I don't think there's any zirconium silicate involved, however.
