that looks like it would take source oil than return.. since we dont have a dry sump set up.. the oil already in the pan is gonna keep oil below it from coming in... imo
what are you trying to do? drain pcv catch can oil back in to the oil system?

how much more oil do you have to add to the entire system to run that? if any
how much longer can you go now before changing your oil? to me its cheaper to change the oil sooner than to have it stay in longer. newer oil is better than any old oil filter a million times imo. the engine temp can evaporate any water in the system.
this is the 1st i have heard of you system tho.. looks nice btw

The system doesnt take that much at all, just what is in the lines and when the filter becomes saturated - so, probably a half quart to compensate - this is better anyway because you have more additives protecting your motor.
On the s2000, it really isn't about the ROI with the drain interval extensions, but simply the fact that you are running on cleaner than brand new oil all the time.
When you perform an oil change, approx 18% of the old oil remains in the motor, and when you pour your new oil in, it mixes with the old oil and instantly contaminates the new oil.
This system isnt just any old oil filter, it filters down to one micron and removes all water in the oil, whereas our full-flow filters only go down to 25 microns. I found out today that for full flow filters to get a 25 micron rating, they are only required to get 50% of the oil to 25 microns in size, so really there are bigger particulates floating around creating liquid sandpaper in the motor.
What causes all wear in a motor is particulate from 5-15microns in size - so now you have virtually no wear happening in the motor. I can rev at 9k all day
haha.
Oh and as far drain interval extension, I can easily take it out to a year through oil analysis.
Thanks! I'm glad you like the look of it. The reason no one has really heard of this yet is because this market is untapped. A lot of trucking fleets like Wal-Mart run these because their oil drain expense are like 200 dollars, so extensions of oil drains while protecting internals is a no brainer for them to save millions.
