so i walked up to my car the other day to notice a nice quarter inch cut in the rear window. i went to home depot and found some 3M transparent duct tape which seems to be up to the job but it hasn't rained yet so i don't know.

what kind of ghetto fixes/brand of tape are you guys using?

When that happened I decided I needed a new top, one with a glass rear window.

Best way to cover it up I've found is to leave the top down.. no one seems to notice the crack.

You can replace just the window, but it's almost the same amount of work as replacing the entire top.

Patch the window from the inside using clear tape...finish it off with some dark cling-on tint. This hides the tear until you can upgrade to new top.
