8k miles, and I have a very annoying clutch rattle in all gears, decellerating at 3-4k rpm. Im going to take a service tech for a ride to duplicate the noise, but Id also like to go in with some facts. I could only dig up info on the tsb for MY00-01 for this problem, nothing on the '02. Am I correct in assuming that this would be fixed under warranty even with no tsb? Any advice or help?

How do you know it is your clutch. It could be a loose heat shield that raddles when when the vibration is "just so".

 

I hear what you are saying, and have fixed many heat shield rattles, this does not sound like those, but I guess I cant be 100% sure.

This definitely sounds internal, and similar to what others have posted as symptoms - but wasnt this 'fixed' in 02+?
