Will these injectors fit in a AP1? I know they look completely different, but the guy I bought them from says that as long as I use the lower O-rings that he sent with the injectors, they will fit an ap1. Is this true?

The reason is, my car is missing and popping at idle, getting a random misfire cel on all cylinders. I've done a valve adjustment, changed the coils, and the car already has new plugs (NGK iridium), did those myself about 5k miles ago. The only thing left is injectors. I was going to send them back to the guy, but he's dodging me and saying that I can use them.

 

I know someone has to know. Where's all the gurus at?! hah.

 

if you wire them in, and get different orings, but honestly, why go through that trouble?

why didn't you just get 00-05 injectors?

 

They are of a different capacity I believe, so while they may fit, it's not like the 00-05 ECU is going to run optimally with them.

The connectors, height and flow rates are different. 06 and later injectors are meant for returnless fuel systems. They do not swap.
