It wont be until Monday. Im going out of town for the weekend. Any idea on the tightness? Im not talking like, 'having the top down for 2 weeks' tightness either, this literally feels like it could be a drum on the top portion.

when i replaced my top and installed the new one it was exactly like you're talking about so tight it sounded like a drum. Put it in the sun or heat for a couple of hours and it should stratch out.

Good deal. I figured (hoped) that'd be the case. Now I just gotta figure out that wire... I wonder if there is any VERY strong double sided fabric tape or glue that wouldnt adversely affect the outside of the top.

Matt,

Take a look at this thread where he talks about the wire and let me know if this helps.

I appreciate the link, but Im not sure it helps much at all. The "sleeve" the wire goes through is just un-glued....somehow. I have no clue how that happens, but it did. Im just wondering if it'll be alright like that or if I need to find a way to re-attached the "sleeve".
