That is a stock S2K you are quoting. He asked for any S2K that is NA. I would think it could be pretty fast...probably in the 12's.

High compression engine work, port and polished head, cams, I/H/E, AEM EMS, 4.77 gears, lots of weight reduction, upgraded diff, axles, clutch, and drag radials.

Anyone that is going all motor want to leave some 1/4 mile times?

I own a 350Z and they got plenty of potential. Im just waiting upon my twin turbo kit to be released.....

But my mom owns a Honda S2000 and Im just curious how fast it can really get staying N/A.

I know its really hard to extract power from the S2000...........

Guys, Why do supercharged S2000' still run in the 13's ???

It looks like with some basic bolt-ons the rsx's are dipping lower into the 1320 times then you guys are

I would rather have an S2000 then my Z, but, the power output of the S2000 is a turn off.

Is there anyone running in the 12's without forced induction.......and that hasn't spend crazy amounts of money on their motor ?

There a several turbo kits out for the S2K and they should put you in the 12's. Speedcraft, Spool, Ultimate Racing are a few. 6-8 psi is about all you can run on stock internals and will be about 300 rwhp. The reason the supercharged S2k's run in the 13's is because they are centrifugal chargers that don't make real boost until 6K rpm's. They are great for the track but not so much for drag or street racing. Turbo is the way to go if you want to go fast in a straight line. Do a search on the great superchager vs turbo debate to find more info than you will ever need. Of course turbo's are not CARB Legal if that matters to you.

Not CARB legal "so far", not because they can't be. I can dream can't I ? I've asked around but NOBODY will tell me exactly how much it costs to get a CARB certification.
