10W50 or 5w40

I'm about to switch to synthetic oil and after looking everywhere I haven't been able to find any brand that sells 10w30 synthetic oil locally.

5W-40 would work great. There would be no advantage to running 10W-50. It could be possibly harmful too.

10W50 is not good!
