Default 1st gear hard to engage?

i was at the drag dtrip last night and when i went to do a burnout i didnt relize that i had it in 3rd. It did a real quick burnout but it laged out real qick. and ever since then when i go to put it in to 1st and take it out it is real stiff like its getting stuck on something. Every other gear is perfectly fine. Would this problem be able to b fixed. My car is an 01 and only has a cat back and coilovers

i would start from checiking engine/gear mounts and then transimission oil draining and checking what's coming out.
you can slo take out and check the shifter - but IMO it shouldn;t be affected by this little fun you had.

I wouldnt think you should have a problem, other than blowing your diff. Mine is a little weird going into 1st some times... id change my trans fluid, look for pieces to see if you made yourself a nice present inside the trans case. although i doubt it. let us know!

when i had difficulties getting in first gear i found the clutch master cylinder leaking, you could just top off the fluid/bleed it and there is a good chance it'll fix it without replacing the component...
