rev limit on that?

btw, i was checking out their turbo kit. why go with a toy of a bov? turbosmart bov's are not the highest quality parts.

revlimit on the 2.5L is still 9k. They have been using turbosmart for a while now. If you want their kit you can go with different BOV if you want to

What's wrong with Turbosmart? I have one of their budget BOVs and it is fine. I've also toured their factory and everything looks up to spec to me.

if you plan on running more than 18 lbs. or so on a decent sized turbo, i wouldn't go with anything other than tial. i've heard of turbosmarts leaking under moderate boost levels.

I personally prefer the HKS SSQV BOV over the Tial and and all others on the market. It has a very nice chirp to it, and it is virtually impossible for it to leak by design. It looks nice too, the quality is top-notch.

ok, i don't want this thread to get sidetracked into which bov is better. the hks will not be able to get rid of all the excess gas that big boy turbo's make, but it is good for smaller turbos.

btw, you're name leads me to believe that you're a DSMer. i figured you'd put priority on function over sound. when you spend $1,000 on a turbo, i'd say it's a lot more important to prevent compressor surge than to make a cool chirp sound.
