Default 2002 Clutch installed in a 2001!

Well, I got my car back friday with a 2002 Clutch installed and this is what can tell so far:

It seems to have a little more grab, the thing is either engaged or not engaged but I suspect this might also be because it is fresh out the box.

The clutch pedal feel is WAY LIGHTER! When I first drove the car I was surprised, I even thought something was wrong because it felt like the clutch wasn't even engaging. I felt like I was pushing air. Very weird.

Besides that, everything else is about the same, I can't tell if it is more or less noisy as some honda ads claim. It's too early to call.

i wouldn't ever change my clutch to a lighter clutch. i like my hard clutch, and i'm very happy that i was one of the lucky '01s that got the harder clutch.
not that i'm mad at you for doing it, but why did you even do this?

I didn't do it because I wanted to, my original clutch was trashed.

Hmmmm.... anyone else think that Honda is trying to make Soccer Moms happy, and insure the lifespan of the LSD?

The Clutch does not have much to do with the LSD. I've not tried the '02 clutch but I'mm wondering if they are using the same "technology" and improvements that were touted on the RSX - I know it's a different clutch though.

Yeah tell that one to Wesmaster . . .

The hard grabing clutches can hurt the rest of the drivetrain

But the driver normally makes up the difference by releasing slower...

Stock clutch, no dumps, diffy is dying despite a rebuild. I think it's made of glass. I can see where Honda might prefer some clutch slip
