Hi, as per title i've been having this problem for a while. Everyday for the first time i start my car i warm it up before i start moving. So during while its warming up it just starts idling really rough goes up and down between 1k and 2k rpm. I've tried changing spark plugs, changing the battery, unplugged the battery and let it relearn. tried almost everything i could think of off the top of my head. One of my friends said it could possibly be something to do with the intake manifold. its quite annoying cos usually when it starts acting up ill shut it off then turn it back on, and it will idle hunt after about 5 secs. The only way for it to stop is when the temperature goes up to the second box. Any ideas?

 

Try cleaning your idle air control valve, check this thread or search for IACV for more info
