2004 s2000 with f20

Default 2004 s2000 with f20

i bought my car in march 2015 while i was cleaning yesterday i noticed that the motor says f20c. is it possible that an ap2 has original f20 motor on it?

Engine swap. Quite possible. It didn't come from the factory like that.

Check the manufacture date. Maybe it's not a 2004.

His vin wouldn't have much to do with a swap if the PO swapped it.
And correct me if I'm wrong... But F20C coil pack covers are black, and Ap2 are gold?

Check the back of the engine block and compare against the Vin in your cars windshield. That's the guaranteed way to know if its a factory oddball. My guess is that you bought a car with a blown/replaced engine

If you are running at f20 in your ap2, I would get a AP1 00-01 ecu asap. Not only rev to 9, but your car should be running a map made for that engine
