billy,

My spoon duct came with instructions in japanese which were definitely not very helpful, but thankfully once you have the part in hand, the install is pretty straightforward. IMO the hardest part about the whole thing was trying to get a screw driver in position to pop the 4 retainer clips.

RR,

Nice choice on the duct! Let me know when the exhaust is going on, as I would still be glad to lend a hand.

There are instructions for the IDI guide in the library which is an exact copy of the Spoon duct. Remember to cut the guide and replace it back into the engine bay.

The library appears to have dwindled to just 2 or 3 articles in each category. It seems lots of stuff has dissappeared.

Are you talking about the plastic that sits on top of the radiator? Why would I need to replace it? I did not want to cut it up either.

I got an email from Alan at A-J Racing today - he did not know my car was a 2004, and wanted to know how my surgery on the Spoon snorkel went. As I told Muz, once I cut, filed, sanded, and sprayed it, it came out OK. I just think for the $$$ I spent I should have got a piece that did not require me to hack it up. I hope Muz gets it right.

The air guide is cheap to replace. Xviper and Turborpwr said there engine temps were higher without the guide back in place. Xviper also has a install guide.
