Hey CrazyPhuD, I know you recently got an alignment done and I rather liked the way you presented your before and after settings on a nice printout. Where do you recommend for a descent alignment job where they'll supply you with a before/after printout. I have to say that the people I have taken my previous cars to don't know shit since I think they just set it to some generic setting. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for your alignment? Someone also posted that Honda charges $79.99 for an alignment job. Who do you recommend?

Auto Innovations in Milpitas does great alignments to your specs. $80 I believe. Just about any shop will do a before and after printout. Just make sure that everything is even to the tenth of a degree, any more than that, and the shop is being sloppy. The S2000's suspension is fully adjustable.

Well I can give you a good place in the Bay Area but that probably wouldn't do you much good

So most aftermarket alignment shops should give you a before and after sheet. The rationale is that if you want to go back to your prior settings because they were better then you need to know what they were set at. You can always call them before you go and ask if they do that.

Your profile says you're in LA....I'd reccomend posting in the SoCal forums. They should be able to point you to a good alignment shop. Generally if an S driver trusts a shop to work on their car that's a for me.

Good Luck!

Just to clarify, you mean the after specs should be within +/- 0.1 degree to that printed in the owner's manual right? Does the same rule apply for the suspension parameter given in inches(i.e. should it be within +/- 0.1")?

Btw, you have to tell the alignment shop even the stock specs for the S2000 right?
Jeez, every time before this I've paid around $50 for the guy to do a generic alignment on my other cars. They don't even ask! I've decided I want a good, reputable shop to do the alignment on my S. Thanks for the info guys.

I think what kit is trying to say is make sure that the Left side and the Right side have the same settings(i.e. same toe/camber)

So most good shops should have the stock s2k settings...however...they may not have updated their software for the MY04 settings, it's good to bring them in with you to make sure you're getting MY04 settings.

$80 for an alignment is not unreasonable....you can probably find somewhat cheaper but I'd rather go for quality....
