Default 2006 engine in 2004 s2k

this is my first post and fairly new to the s2000

i have an 04 s2000,thrust bearing spun and ruined the bottom end.
the only motor i could get was a 2006,dbw. the recker says, just change the intake. so i put the engine in,
2004 intake
2004 harness
2004 valve cover, this is where i noticed the cam sensors, and crank sensor different from from the 2 engines.
so i just changed the crank sensor and exhaust cam pulser
also no air pump on 2006.
so engine is in and running, engine light on for air pump,so i just disconnected the connector in front the drivers wheel,
engine light is off,but now on for p0420, cat converter below threshold,is this because air pump? or just another problem

also the engine is hard to start sometimes, from doing a good long search i found that the crank sensor pulser on the 2004 is 12 tooth and the 2006 is 13 tooth, or vise versa,
regardless its different. i will change it tomorrow, and see what happens
so to do this swap correctly i need:
the 2006 engine with
2004 complete intake
2004 valve cover
2004 exhaust cam pulser
2004 complete engine wiring harness,ecu
2004 crank sensor
2004 crank pulser

is there anything else???

and what about the air pump??

any input would be much appreciated

thanks

today i put the 2004 crank pulser on the 2006 engine. perfect, no hard start when cold.
so the swap is a success, but the air pump!!!!???

how do i get rid of it? the 06 engine doesn't need it,but the 04 ecu wants it

Im thinking you will have to deal with the light stating so. Or I know that the ap1 FI also removes the air pump and block it off. Then they use the AEM ECU to clear the code for good. Might be another way but hope that helps alil.
