2007 Front Grill Damge
While driving home on I95 Tuesday night in West Palm Beach Florida, I ran over what appeared to be a large piece of styrofoam in the middle of the road.
The damage to the front bumper was a small scrape but the bottom part of the grill is detached.
Can the grill be re-attached without replacing the entire bumper? I understand it is actually part of the bumper

Nope, the grill is a sperate part. It is not part of the bumper.
There is a few plastic pins that are part of the grill that hold it into the bumper. The pins shear off under the impact. So you may need to replace the grill to mount it back.
Personally mine was broken with a piece of cardboard on the road. I figured it it happen again, so instead of replacing a 50 part, I changed the way it was mounted. I used pop-rivets to replace the broken pins on the grill and mounted to the bumper using the stock holes. 20K miles and no issues.
