AT-205 safe for F20C?
Hey all, I listen to a particular YouTube mechanic who consistently touts a resealer product called AT-205. Well, I have what may be a very small leak at my rear main seal. Has anyone tried the AT-205 in their engines? (Did it work?) Think it's safe enough for my pampered S2000?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Those "quick-fix" sealant solutions for the oil and coolant makes me real nervous. I've fixed a few bikes, where folks had put that kinda stuff into the oil or coolant. Ended up blocking small passages and ruining the motors.
Maybe best to replace the rear seal when doing a clutch job.

I spray that stuff on EXTERNAL rubber parts, like cv boots and steering rack boots. Suspension bushings. Hoses.
Its a great rubber preserver. But its made for automatic transmissions. That's why its called AT-...
I wouldn't put it inside an engine. Ever. I wouldn't even put it inside an automatic trans unless the only other alternative was to rebuild it anyway.
