Well i would be moving to Stockton,Ca from Los Angeles its a 300 mile drive witch is about a 6 hour drive i would like to know what should i check before taking this trip with my S...I have 18,000 Miles oil change is coming up in 700 miles so im going to do this a day before leaving... should i take anything with me? extra bottle of mobil 1 etc....

 

300 miles is cake.

Just make sure your fluids are good. You probably won't even need much oil but just bring a bottle incase.

 

btw, if you're worried about rock chips and what not. They make this type of spray-on bra/protective thingy that washes off easy..

 

You'll be fine! Try driving 10 to 12 hours a day and 8000 miles in 2 weeks in the S

 

Are you serious? You're worried about a 300 mile trip? That's only one tank of gas.

 

I do a 120 each way trip in a day and i didnt have to worry about a thing, roads includes mountain roads, hills and freeway. just mask your bumper with painter's tape if you are anal about bumper getting rock trip, because bay area's road kinda sucks...haha

 

this is my first trip with my S just making sure im not forgetting anything for her

 

these couple day its gonna rain in bay area also just heads up, my car doesnt see rain thought

 

I drove from LA to Berkeley and back in a day with no problems. 110k and still running strong baby!

 

OK, well fill up the tank, check the fluids, check the tire pressures, and have fun.
