385 Hp Na S2000!!?
I was surfing the net, when I came upon a thread at www.theoldone.com saying the Endyn crew is building a naturally aspirated 385HP to the flywheel S2000. Anybody heard or know anything about it? Here's the link to the thread LINK
it's possible. but i doubt hardly streetable. bored, stroked, raised compression, dry sump, agressive cams, indivdual throttle bodies and engine management. i can see how they might get that much out of the engine. the skunk2 integra made about that much i hear.
I wouldn't believe what Endyn really says. They make alot of false claims and talk out there ass alot. There was alot of controversy over them and a local shop in LA about numbers and what not. Endyn claimed like 450+ on some motor, but when it was put on a dyno it only made like 375 or something like that. Personally i wont believe that they are making that power until it is tested by a 3rd party.

First of all, if you are referring to Atomic, I believe they are out of business. I don't know exactly what you are referring to, but 450 at the crank equates to roughly 375 at the wheels.
The engine will be streetable without ITBs, but custom parts are always radically expensive. It won't be a drag car. Just something to get to the office in style when it's nice out.
I won't make any predictions, I'll leave that for the dyno plots. I do intend to post dyno plots, by the way. Timetable is variable since Larry is doing this on the cheap for me and better paying customers and people in a big rush always take priority.

Best advice, as always, is to wait and see.
I will say that 400 hp from 2.0 liters NA is not unreasonable. But to do it on pump gas would be a rather large achievement and would require some serious revs - this last is a bit of a surprise if you know one of Endyn's favorite sayings about rpm.

I will eat my left shoe if this happens on pump gas. This company is flakey to say the least. I don't know about that company at all.... All the B-series people seem to think that company is the devil. Correct me if I am wrong, but it sure seems like all of their products are other people's products, repackaged??

That would be awesome!!! I want to stay NA if possible.
