Default 4.77 Miata Gears

I remember a post in a thread that said that you can buy 4.77 Miata gears cheap and they are the same as the S2000's. Does anyone know if this is true and how much do they cost?

Ricks 4.57's are "Richmond" gears and are much stronger!

I don't know about the 4.77's or the 4.44's, but I know a few members have trashed them both.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the info. That is exactly what I was looking for.

Since I own a deep cryogenic thermal cycling company, I may just have to get a set and treat them.
