Has anybody tried to put this in a S2K yet?

The 4G63 engine is very strong.It's in my 96 GST.
Bought it new.Has 144k miles now.

The f20/f22 is just as strong, the 4g63 may be an iron block but I know we've all seen the few 700+ hp s2k's on completely stock motors. There is no reason you should want to swap.

Had a 4g63 powered Evolution VIII. There will never be another Mitsubishi in my stable after that experience, that's for sure. And I surely would never ruin an S with one. I'm sure there are handful of "Good" 4G63S (reliability wise), but replacing an F engine with one? Ridiculous..

What's wrong with them? Numerous people love them. They're great motors. I wouldn't say good enough to replace an f series with though.
The 4G63 motor I loved, its the IX MR 6 speed that made me dislike mitsubishi. Lol.

There is no comparison between these engines . The f20/22 is superior in every way . That 4g63 engine is good for Mitsubishi but its FAR from a Honda .
