Default 5th gear sticks

5th gear is becoming harder and harder to get out of. I dont have a difficult time getting it into gear but taking it out is another issue. What could be wrong? Car motor and tranny have about 150k. Thanks for any help guys

Fifth gear sleeve is getting burred up.

Most common cause is skip shifting.

On-off throttle, full load then no load operation in Fifth gear will likely cure it. The burrs on the drive cog will flatten and you'll be good to go.
