I bought mine for $130 or something and had a member put it in for me. I heard it's not very hard to change out..

bought mine for 130 shipped installed it in 5 mins. just be careful you dont drop the pin.

i tied the pin with a nylon string and pulled it with long nose pliers (make sure to pull the pin with the pliers the string is just incase youll drop the pin), you will hear a click and put the 2 screws then your done.

i dont think anyone has done this trick and i know most of the guys are scared to do it cause of the pin but honestly its not a big deal. if you know how to change oil this is even so much easier.

oh one more thing make sure to torque the screws correctly, i just dont remember the proper amount of torque so just do a search...

They probably priced chain guides.

$130 part from Jeff (Hardtopguy) and no more than 40 minute install with stock airbox. 10 minute swap with CAI. Piece of cake job.

600? that's crazy. it's like a 10 minute job if u don't have a huge air box.

600$ is a fair price to replace the chain guides.
