Default 9 psi w/ emanage

on a comptech set up w/ fmic and emanage do i need bigger injectors to run 9 psi? or would it be safe with the emanage alone?

When we did mine with the stock injectors, it was running out of gas after 320hp. I would use larger injectors to go beyond 300hp.

I'm at the edge then.

I just went through a whole ordeal with larger injectors. I spent a real long time and probably had the best running S2000 with larger injectors, but I would not recommend it. I tried both 550cc and 440cc. The 440cc are much better that the absolutely oversized 550cc. However the part throttle is still a nightmare to get right and even with the hundred or so hours I spent part throttle tuning, the car behaves on the border of unacceptable at the very low TPS setting. I am speaking about between 5%-15% TPS between 900 RPM-4000 RPM, basically in stop and go traffic.

The stock injectors are the absolutely best thing to run. If that mean you need to increase line pressure then install a moderate RRFPR, perhaps set at 2:1 then use the emanage to add the little bit of fuel you will need. This car really doesn't need much fuel for the boost application.

cheers

I just re-installed the 380cc stock injectors, did several logs this weekend and did not see duty cycles higher than 85%. But I am running 5.5psi.

I would say you're good probably upto 7 psi. To be sure once you tune, log a run showing the Total Inj. Duty Cycle and make sure.

cheers

Hey Phil, does your car behave unacceptably at low rpm and throttle openings?

With a proper tuning and something like an AEM EMS, isn't this a non issue?

Even though the stock injectors can handle over 300 hp, I heard that you can over work them if you are at full throttle to long while in full boost.
