Default ABS brakes randomly comes on

It feels as though I'm driving on wet surface... randomly. What causes the ABS to come on randomly?

PS. The ABS light is on.

If the ABS light is on, something is not working right and you probably don't have ABS functionality at all. You need to get the code pulled and find out why that light is on.

I had this problem when i bought aftermarket axles. The teeth on the ABS ring didn't match up with the sensors. Check the alignment. Also make sure the rings are clean and free of debris and oil. If not, you may have damaged a sensor while working on the car. I would start there and work your way up.

Brake fluid is full.
Everything is stock except I just changed to a different aftermarket wheels.
Alignment could be off.

The problem is the brake pedal is pulsating (ABS engaging) in random occasions. There are certain times it would go away for a while then it would come back again.

brake pulsation is a typical sign of worn out rotors

The ABS light coming on is not, however. The ABS light coming on is a typical sign that the ABS trouble code needs to be pulled.
