I'm lost. My 4" gives me 8psi before AC. And even with the AC it's the same amount of air even it it exerts less pressure.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'treat'. Just install and tune.

Personally I don't think you should run the stock pulley with just the FPR so my answer is pretty obvious.

I recommend the AEM EMS, bigger injectors and a tuner with a brain the size of a planet.

If you can't do that then an E-manage and 440cc injectors.

If you can't afford that don't mess with the pulleys. YMMV.

3.8 inches is right at the limit. Let us know how it goes.
I ended up using If I remember correctly the 49", I think its actually a 49.5". But I also had to get a bigger size tensioner pulley, which I happened to find at my local auto part store. If I didn't get a bigger pulley, the tensioner was already at 1/2 its travel, making the belt only slightly tight. So now its good to go. Gotta go tune w/ my new pulley, head, etc...

ON my way to changing my pulley down to a 3.5 from 3.8". Rerouted piping on intercooler and gained 1psi.

So i'm still looking for lost PSI.

Else, im gonna go back to the aftercooler

We will see how much boost gets picked up from a pulley change from 3.8 to 3.5"

[QUOTE=Sideways,Jul 6 2005, 02:56 PM] Using a 3.5 inch pulley limits your redline to 8500 rpm whereas your 3.8 inch pulley is good for 9300 rpm.

I have a Comptech pulley that measures 3.4 inches OD.

Anybody know what boost it's considered to be???
