Saw this on ebay, I paid 170 for mine which has a different code. but my friend needs a cheap clutch and we found this.

Any input on this??

read the description.

And I can guarantee you that is not an ACT disc in that picture, it's a Honda disc.

Even if it is a new EXEDY disc, dont buy it you'll be sorry. The buzz is horrible.

 

In the picture on ebay, at 10'oclock next to the yellow marked splined part it says: HONDA.
ACT also uses the OEM Honda pressure plates, they replace the springs, rebalance it, engrave their part# and paint it yellow = ACT

 

Many people thought that the ACT discs were Honda also, but not so.

Bill man, what clutch would you Buy for no buzz? I have the competition stg 2 right now and the noise is unbearable... I can't stand it!

 

Also interested in your opinion billman, sorry to thread jack op! I've heard that the act disc has bad buzz issues...and even a act rep confirmed so on the phone. What would be a step up from oem without noise? I'm currently running an exedy oem teplacement and pretty happy with it so far

 

ACT pressure plate, OEM disk. No buzz, much greater clamp load.
