I too have the ACT 6 puck un sprung clutch with the extreme pressure plate. I have 6 words for you also, Kiss good bye to your drivetrain. If you drive hard at all, i give you 4000 miles before your diff goes. 3300 miles after my swap my rear diff blew into about 200 pieces. Youll start to hear a whine as your driving, the minute you hear that, take it in and break it down and do get a new LSD AND/or Comptechs bearing reinforcements for the actual pig it self. best of luck to you and your new toys. Lord knows I loved them at first too. =

^Excatly what I was thinking just from reading the title.

Then i read the story and..............OMG! What are you doing man? I know it's your car but dam, 6 puck? Agressive driving? Both are bad for the S drive train. Let alone both at once.

Yea its badass when you first get it, I never imagined it could launch so quick WITHOUT a clutch drop but its badass. Too bad Honda could engineer alittle more then soup of a drivetrain.

If you plan on drag racing and shifting hard enough with the ACT 6 puck clutch and the power of a supercharger, your going to be killing your drivetrain VERY quickly. In this car, IMO, the clutch should be the weakest point. Is having the extra grip worth a $3,000 rear-end as the trade-off?

you don't want to drag race with your current drivetrain.
you probably don't want to drag with me either.....

it happened after i posted the message about getting the clutch...

and about the car being hell, well its not like i was hard on it...

1. Dad crashed it, had to get new bumpers
2. Clutch went out had to get a new one, took a week.
3. Hydrolocked the engine, then the tow truck guy ripped the bumper off (not all the way, but enough to cause a grand in damage.) was out of the car for two months.
4. Clutch went out AGAIN, and had to replace it, (the 6 puck is in it).
5. now the rear end...

so the car is actually not breaking mechanically, electrically on me, just little things are happenging, which take forever to fix...
i love my car, but enough is enough...grrr..
