right now its set to 9k but the head is built so it will take 10k. i just dont have a way of telling the rpm past 9k so i havent set it for 10k. also, the compression is 13:1 so im afraid i will blow the bottom end if i go any higher

Is the 2.5 a F20C? if so how did you get it to 2.5 stroker, bigger piston
or both...?

What was put in the head to make safe at 10,000rpm?

Using 1052-U on a stroked 2.5L and have a Stage II head from Laskey. While the head is capable of 10k rpm(and I ran my CTSC'er setup to 10k on it - talking about screaming! ), I don't recommend setting the rev limiter to that ceiling.

If you're actually tracking the car, I would recommend leaving the rev limiter at stock, but set your target shift points at the 8500 rpm range which happens to be where my motor drops in hp, mainly due to the stock cams. You'll save your motor unnecessary wear.
