You'll need either the A'PEXi or the GM boost control solenoid...those are the popular choices. I've tuned both and they both work well. In addition, if you're going to be running more than 10psi or so of boost, I recommend the AEM 3.5bar MAP sensor.

I just got back from Sema yesterday. I saw the AEM A/F gauge display. It is really cool. The entire wide-band controller is built right into the gauge. It looks like a 60mm gauge but I wasn't sure. It has the A:F led's going around the outer edge and a digital reading in the center. I'll get a few of them on order and put pics up when I get them in. I believe the pricing is still going to be fairly cheap, only around $100 more than the standard AEM w/b without display.

Take care,
Chris.

Chris,

Does this mean that in order to get the air-fuel display, you have to swap out the wideband controller already installed?

the new AEM wide-band sounds nice. Does it still integrate into the EMS?

How do I upgrade to the most recent version of the EMS? I won't be doing this until it is time to tune the car again. If I were to upgrade now would I lose the maps that I am currently running?

Thanks,
Eric

Chris,

I've just had a good look at you site and like the look of the AEM package deal, I was wondering if your package comes with any decent base maps??? Sorry if you have already mentioned this as I've only had chance to scan over the thread as I'm in work

Andy

Hey for all the guys that had an issue that the EMS might not work on the '03... well it does! My car is proof of it and I am running n/a the link for the hp gains is: http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=657083. I had gained roughly about 10hp on a mustang dyno and Jack from www.p1auto.com has been tuning it (imo among the best tuners on the east coast)! There will be more updates on the EMS tuning once the cams(toda version2 cams) are installed and tuned ~nate

Why is your air-fuel ratio 14:1 at idle and not stoichiometric (14.7:1)?
