Although the gauge function for a reading isn't really important to me with the EMS, it would be nice to have it working. Just one of those simple things that you'd think would be done.
Hopefully AEM will figure it out.

just so I don't confuse myself, are we talking about the coolant temp guage or the air intake temp that the AEM reads. I don't need the AEM to display the proper coolant temp on the cluster as I'm not running the stock instrument cluster anymore. My only concern is during tuning where with the EMS connected to a laptop, it'll read the air intake temps 30 degrees cooler than they really are. I have yet to touch my ignition maps.

Hi Vapors. We're talking about the inability of the EMS to operate the temperature "gauge" on the dash. The EMS has (i) no problems reading the raw input voltages from the coolant temperature sensor (but, per my earlier email, the voltage table that comes with the EMS S2K maps are NOT correct and thus the EMS is reporting incorrect coolant temps) and (ii) no problems reading or using the input voltages from the air intake temperature sensor (so you need NOT worry about the values when tuning, as they will be correct).

yes on both accounts
the air temps were way off, but at least consistent.
the coolant just doesn't work period.
The question that I would like to k now is: is there a difference between coolant themps that the AEM sees (via laptop, etc.) and actual temp.
