AEM Issues Warning to Supra EMS Owners...
http://www.aempower.com/important.htm
"This is IMPORTANT information for anyone with an AEM EMS part # 30-1100 for the Toyota Supra. We have found that specific serial #'s have a circuit problem that allows the fuel pump to remain running when the key is in the on position. Please note that this can be dangerous in the event of an accident and must be remedied. If you feel competent making a simple modification on your own, please call AEM and we will give you simple instructions on how to make this modification (your warranty will not be voided when you open the EMS case). If you do not feel comfortable with this, please call AEM to obtain an RGA for return for modification. All Returns received will be turned around same day and overnighted back to you. AEM will cover the cost of shipping both ways. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding."
Nice.

While it's good to see AEM taking responsibility, I'm pretty disappointed by all the problems with their EMS. I'm aware that it's made by a company in England and AEM is selling it here under license, but they should've done their R&D work before releaseing this product
I've noticed a lot of caompnies are in such a rush to get the product to market that proper R&D is skipped and product comes out semi finished.

Wes, the Insight on the Redliner logo is too funny. You must be jonesing for the S. Any idea when you're getting it back? I've stopped reading street encounters since it went into the shop.
At this time I cannot discuss the condition of the car, or any ETA of it being back on the street. Hopefully things will be worked out soon and I can share my experiences with the community once again.

. Houston has been rather boring during his downtime. I'm sorry, but the Insight just doesn't cut it.
