Default AFE filter

I just got the AFE filter in and the plug that goes into the airbox that keeps it in place doesnt have a cross + on it, but its just a nub.

I just installed it the way it was. Anyone do anything different?

Good choice in a filter! I run it the same way you do.

I don't, but I can tell you that this filter is widely considered the finest made for the S.

all the guys at AFE are former employees

over here at K&N we call AFE ( All Former Employees)

the owner of AFE used to be the head of R&D K&N......

the company let him go and he started AFE, everything AFE is a rip-off of K&N.

as far filtering and fitment K&N > AFE

That's interesting info, but I do know that the guys on the board that know everything about S's seem to prefer the AFE's. I think there is a thread somewhere that shows that the AFE is superior in all aspects to K&N. Plus, isn't the K&N a universal filter, where as the AFE is S2000 specific?

I have had the KN FIPK and I have now switched to AFE. Im liking the AFE a little bit better.

I trust Mugen, and Mugen uses AFE filters!
