Default Aftermarket O2 sensor

So I felt like changing out B1S1 (bank 1 sensor1) O2 the other day.....got me an after market one for 60$....installed it....
2 days later I noticed that the car bogs on hot starts, I'm pushing on gas and nothing happens, then it jumps couple of times, and after that all is normal, no codes.
A swapped the old OEM one back in, the problem is gone!
Moral of the story:
1 Don't fix what is not broken
2 OEM = Quality

Thank you Olegater for answering my question that was posted two days ago
I have just bought a S2000 2006 model and the O2 sensors are not working the dealer has ordered me new ones which will take about 20 days to arrive here in South Africa. So I have never driven an S2000 before and I was getting worried that when I pull away the car feels like it is missing and then starts to go after like you say it bogs first.
I do hope that this problem goes away when the new ones are fitted.
The car was from a older woman driver from new and has hardly ever been in vtech, could soft driving damage the o2 sensors?
if not what does.
sorry for all the questions but you do seem to know the problem and have had experience with fixing it,.
Cheers Paul..

hope you'll get your problem fixed
Soft driving can't damage sensors.....bad gas or if the car has been sitting for a long time might

Thanks Olegator Yes the car had been sitting in her garage for a few months as she emigrated and sold the car at a later stage
this now puts things into sense for me.
Cheers Mate..

I've got a $60 Bosch "aftermarket" sensor and it works fine. I monitor the AFR all the time (wideband). Some people said they are junk and others say they are great, but it comes down to connecting the wires correctly. It was not hard to do.
