Default Aftermarket Seat Install

I am REAL close to buying some MOMO seats and I was wondering if anyone knew if I had to get a harness now or can I still use the seatbelt setup?

It depends on the seat. Some work with the stock belts, some don't. Just as important is the rails. Make sure they work with the S2000 otherwise you just bought funny seats for your living room.

i wouldn't recommend a harness unless you put aftermarket rollover protection in the car, for safety reasons. stock seatbelts allow your body to compress under impact, a harness would keep you upright and if the rollhoops failed then your spine would be the only thing around to compress if you were held upright against the seat.

I agree with Josh. And also make sure the seat fits. if its a deep bucketed momo seat, then the stock seatbelt will least likely work and you'll have to get something that would work. Its best to do it right because this is safety...and your life we're talking about here.
