A couple years ago, I too was set on getting an AGM battery, but was unsatisfied with OEM replacement options. So, I got creative and found that group size 51r batteries have basically the same dimensions as the OEM battery, just have the posts positioned differently. Have no fear though, because our cars' battery cables easily accommodate the post positions on 51r batteries. Plus, I believe battery group size 51r are in some pretty common cars, so there are tons of options. Ultimately, I found a Bosch 51r AGM battery that has worked well so far over the past two years. I shall see if it ever outlives the amazing original Panasonic battery.
